The next big attraction is "Goa Lawah" (Bat Cave), this is a 1000 year old temple and is very auspicious. It is one of the nine "Kayangan Jagat" (directional temples) that protect Bali from Evil Spirits and protects Bali from the South East. This Temple is open for tourists all year round.
The Watergarden provides the perfect base to explore the unspoilt Karangasem and East Bali, which are known for their beauty. In the East of Bali and Karangasem, the people enjoy a traditional way of living, in farming, weaving, silver making, fishing and Salt making.
